This winter opened up a new flow season for me. Maybe it was the weather forcing me to stay indoors and paint but I was pretty prolific over the last couple of months. I found myself breaking out of my normal rules while artmaking and exploring new shapes and ways of expressing with structure. Perhaps those rules were holding me back and one I move past them the creativity just poured out. It’s a good reminder to have rules but don’t hold them too tightly.
